Our company was founded in Osaka in 1927 and incorporated as Nihon Densho Co., Ltd. in 1970. Since then, we have specialized in the sale of electrical construction materials and equipment. With over 30 locations nationwide—centered in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka—we provide tailored solutions built on the trust and partnerships developed with our customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Since our founding, Nihon Densho has consistently upheld the corporate philosophy of “Partnership-Oriented Management,” which emphasizes participatory management involving all employees. We take great pride in witnessing our employees grow economically, mentally, and physically—a true reflection of our shared values and vision.
One of our core strengths is our diverse marketing approach, with six specialized sales divisions, each empowered to develop and execute its own strategy. We are also deeply committed to employee development, nurturing professionals who excel in sales, technology, and interpersonal skills, while fostering individuality and integrity.
Since 2020, we have integrated the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into our business strategy. Through various initiatives, we aim to contribute not only to our employees, customers, and suppliers but also to the broader community. We actively support women’s empowerment, inclusion of people with disabilities, and the promotion of workstyle innovation.
As a specialized trading company and materials supplier, we recognize our role in social contribution—addressing challenges such as disaster prevention and poverty alleviation as part of our mission.
To ensure Nihon Densho thrives for the next 10, 20, and even 50 years, we remain committed to innovation and progress, aligning ourselves with global changes and reforms.
My personal motto is: “Never give up.”
I firmly believe that “a company is its people.”
This conviction is at the heart of everything we do.
